COMMANDO Chino™ Original Shorts Sizing (6")
All dimensions in the table below are given in inches. These are actual measurements of the item itself. In deciding which size is for you we recommend that you pull out your "go-to" similar garments, and lay them flat on your bed to measure them against the chart below and see what matches up!
The fit
These 6" (average inseam) Casual Chino Shorts are a "low-rise" fit compared to our 7.5" and 4" Work and Summer Chino shorts which are more mid-rise or lower-rise in fit, respectively. These also have a wider, looser leg opening than our other chinos for a more casual, everyday fit.
Sort of in-between waist sizes? If you sometimes or always have issues like a lot of us with "muffin-topping", meaning more than average body fat around your mid-section, we recommend going with the larger size to prevent this from occurring with these shorts.
Especially because...
These shorts will shrink in the dryer!
Because they shrink and chino does not stretch nearly as much as our mesh shorts, you will probably want to get 1 size up from what you would get in our athletic shorts. If they end up a little too loose you can always shrink them in the dryer a few times ;)
Like all premium stretch chino material, the cotton (97%) & spandex (3%) blend will eventually shrink about 0.5" to 1" in all dimensions below if you dry them in the dryer. We strongly recommend cold wash only on "delicate" setting and air drying them, hung or laid flat (prevent most wrinkles by hand smoothing at this stage), followed by a cool iron if necessary. As with mostly everything I get from Woof these shorts are great. They feel amazing to wear. But are not always family friendly. Definitely the most riskiest pair of shorts I own. Watch out for the buttons that you tought you buttoned your friend down in the basement may just come out for a wave.
They do like to fall down. I could see sizing being an issue for some. So I just wear a belt or my ass would just be hanging out .
Follow the sizing guide, as I did go with a size up and they fit my legs no problem. But the butt or my lack there of is my issue to deal with. The elastic waist does help for a lose fit, and to show some crack.
For the shade of it all the color is off from the pictures. These are an olive green shade and not an orange sand color. Little disappointed in that but it grew on me olive with it.
The length is great while standing, but I feel like I’m wearing booty shorts when I sit down, they ride up into your boys and your crack hangs out, again not family friendly but definitely are great for a night out of sluting your ass out on the town. Fun and cumfy to wear over all.
