Our Best Guidance On Size Selection
All dimensions in the tables below are given in inches. In deciding which size is for you we recommend that you pull out your "go-to" similar garments, and lay them flat on your bed to measure them against the chart below and see what matches up!
Sort of in-between waist sizes? If you sometimes or always have issues like a lot of us with "muffin-topping", meaning more than average body fat around your mid-section, we recommend going with the larger size to prevent this from occurring with these shorts. If not and/or you DGAF showing off (like most of us here) then go a size down man!
Right in the range below? Go ahead and get that size for a regular fit in cotton shorts, go down a size in nylon shorts to show off that junk in the trunk and equipment in the hood!
Important Garment Care Advice
Our premium Cotton-Spandex Stretch Twill Chino and Cotton-Spandex French Terry material will eventually shrink about 0.5" to 1" in all dimensions below if you dry them in the dryer. If they end up a little too loose and you wanna you can always shrink them in the dryer a few times ;) We strongly recommend cold wash only on "delicate" setting and air drying them, hung or laid flat (prevent most wrinkles by hand smoothing at this stage), followed by a cool iron if necessary. Our exclusive Nylon-Spandex materials do not shrink. Their antimicrobial properties enable you to wash them less often - but when you do, we still recommend cold wash and air drying them, hung or laid flat (prevent most wrinkles by hand smoothing at this stage), followed by a cool iron if necessary. Silkies are an American military classic! But classic silkies are 100% nylon which means they’re incredibly durable, but they have zero stretch. So for civilian use we’ve solved this plus a few other problems:
- Our nylon-spandex blend stretches like you wouldn’t believe, allowing 100% freedom of movement
- You don’t have to have huge thighs to fill these out – our leg opening fitted (this means you won’t look like you’re wearing a diaper)

They feel great, the butt and thighs and crotch all fit spot on, but the elastic on the waist band feels stretched out, almost like it’s a very old pair of shorts. I got an XL, but if I went down to a L then the rest would probably be too small. Since the waistband is too loose I’ll probably just wear these around the house.
