The bottom line: Order your regular gym shorts size (like Nike, Adidas, etc.) for an athletic tapered, casual above the knee fit - or you can go up a size for a looser roomy fit. These are not as generously sized as our other mesh shorts, they are more what we'd call an "athletic standard fit".

All dimensions in the table below are given in inches. These are actual measurements of the item itself.

In deciding which size is best for you we recommend that you pull out your favorite "go-to" athletic shorts, lay them flat on your bed to measure them against this chart and see what matches up - then, you can't go wrong! This is a new style, so we've included extra extensive measurements down below...

Design Note: These shorts have a slightly more tapered fit in the legs than our other athletic shorts, with the design goal of less flair around the thighs to be more flattering on most guys. If you have really thick thighs and easily fill out our other mesh shorts, you'll likely want to order a larger size in these! These shorts also have a higher rise (we call it "mid-rise") than our other mesh shorts - which have been traditionally "low-rise" - in order to show a little less "crack" on guys that have a full butt without needing to use or tighten the drawstring in most cases.

  • Our proprietary stain and odor-blocking, moisture-wicking nylon-spandex mesh stretches and moves with you like no other shorts you’ve owned (except ours), while the thin nylon-spandex tricot lining keeps them from being see-through, yet still weightless and breezy
  • Two side zippered vertically-aligned Phone Fit Pockets™ are designed to hold your phone more upright while standing, without them flopping around and looking weird
  • One zippered back pocket on the right cheek to hold your wallet – and random phone numbers from the extra attention you’ll get with a sexy fit on any body type

    These shorts are great for the times that I don’t feel like wearing shorter-length shorts. I’ve worn these both commando and with underwear, mainly for running errands or going to appointments (doctor, dentist, etc). I really like the fact that this pair has two zippered side pockets and a zippered back pocket; it allows me to put my wallet, keys, and phone all into separate pockets (same way that I tend to place them with regular shorts and pants), while keeping them secure. I got the Medium, one size up from what I thought that I needed, but it turns out that I could have gone with the Small because of the stretchiness of the material. The only (minor) quibble that I have is with how the side zipper handles bulge out a little bit when I zip up the side pockets, so the outline/line of the shorts along the sides looks a little odd; however, this could also be due to the slightly larger size that I got.
